Kalyon Model is a hobby and model car shop from Istanbul founded in 1984. Between 2004 and 2006, the company released two models of buses made by the Turkish manufacturer Temsa, the Safari and the Diamond. The models are made of plastic in 1/87th scale, and their quality is similar to contemporary bus models by Rietze. Kalyon Model mainly delivered these models as promotional items to Temsa. In addition to plain models, buses in the liveries of particular tour operators were produced for Temsa in very limited quantities and given to the corresponding customers when they tested the original vehicles. The web address of the model car shop is engraved on the bottom of the bus models.
